Privacy Policy
This policy explains what RSDiag collects, why, and what you can do about it. We aim to collect as little as possible to run the service.
What we collect
- Account data — your email and a password hash, so you can sign in.
- License data — the vehicle identification numbers (VINs) you license and which RSDiag products are enabled.
- Order data — records of purchases needed for billing and support.
- Diagnostic data — if you choose to share it, anonymised logs that help us fix a problem.
What we don’t do
- We don’t sell your data.
- We don’t take payment inside the app — purchases happen on this website through a payment provider.
- We don’t upload your calibration files unless you explicitly ask us to for support.
Your choices
You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account at any time. Contact us and we’ll take care of it. Some records tied to completed orders may be retained where required for accounting.

By creating an account or using RSDiag, you agree to these terms.
Licenses
RSDiag products are granted per vehicle (VIN), individually or as a Super License. They are for your own use and may not be resold.
Responsible use
Modifying an engine control unit can affect emissions, safety and your vehicle’s warranty, and may be restricted where you live. You are responsible for using RSDiag lawfully and for the changes you make. Always keep the original backup RSDiag creates.
No warranty for outcomes
RSDiag provides strong safeguards — safety gates and post-write verification — but flashing hardware always carries risk. The software is provided “as is”, without warranty that any given operation will succeed on every unit.
Refunds
If a purchased product can’t be used with a supported vehicle for a reason on our side, contact us and we’ll make it right. See Pricing for what each product includes.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced, and the “last updated” date above will change.
